Women Excel in STEM (WeSTEM+) is a volunteering non-profit association founded to build a strong, inclusive community for young girls, women, and underrepresented groups pursuing careers in STEM. We foster support, mentorship, and empower members to thrive in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, through three key programmatic pillars:
– STEM Initiatives for Kids (<18)
Interactive workshops, and awareness campaigns about STEM, for children and teenagers, highlighting exciting career paths and addressing critical youth challenges such as cyberbullying and sextortion—ensuring a safer, more inclusive digital space for the next generation.
– STEM Programs for Women and Underrepresented Groups (+18)
Accessible, skills-based training programs for learners at all levels, preparing participants to access better employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
– Leadership Programs (+35)
Supporting individuals from underrepresented backgrounds as they advance into leadership roles, through mentorship, coaching, and visibility campaigns, shaping more equitable decision-making across industries.
These pillars ensure that WeSTEM+ supports individuals at every stage of their journey. They are central to our broader strategy to promote digital inclusion, gender equality, and innovation—fully aligned with the European Union’s Digital Decade goals.
